Since September 2026, I am based at the Università degli Studi di Milano for a one-year postdoc with Amnon Neeman.
Before moving to Milan, I was a PhD student of Wendy Lowen and Michel Van den Bergh at the University of Antwerp, supported by an FWO PhD fellowship. I defended my doctoral thesis, Deformations and enhancements of triangulated categories with t-structures, on June 5, 2026.
Research interests
My primary interests lie at the intersection of homological algebra, category theory and noncommutative algebraic geometry. I mostly work with pretriangulated dg- and A-infty-categories and derived categories within the context of noncommutative algebraic geometry, studying, among other things, their deformation theory and the (non-)existence and (non-)uniqueness of enhancements in the presence of a t-structure.
Other topics I enjoy thinking about include Hochschild cohomology, ind-dg-completions, derived injectives, completions of t-structures, (truncated) twisted complexes, Massey products, and N-formal A-infinity-algebras.
